Atomic Solar G-Shock watches

After 20 years of success with it’s G-Shock assortment of timepieces, Casio, Inc., of Dover, New Jersey introduces a new line of Luxury Atomic Solar G-Shock watches, at the JCK Show that opened here today. Introduced in 1983 the G-Shock line has been one of the best selling timepieces across the globe. The new line consists of 10 new atomically powered models with the same G-Shock “toughness,” but with a sophisticated new look and style.

Luxury G-Shock Line

“These sleek new styles utilize the latest in miniaturized technology, Atomic Timekeeping with Tough Solar Power, to create the ultimate G-Shock watch, said David Johnson, vice president, Timepiece Division at Casio. “The new solar powered watches feature Ana-Digi dials with stylish reinforced bands,” continued Johnson.

The luxury Ana-Digi G-Shock watches combine the best of both analog and digital timekeeping and offer a range of G-Shock tough features like 200m water resistance, an EL backlight with afterglow, World Time in 27 cities, a stopwatch, countdown timer, alarms and snooze features. It’s analog-digital perfection. The solar panel dials feature unique styling that has digital readouts for battery levels/date, atomic timekeeping signals/seconds, and watch modes.

G-Shock Atomic Solar watches use a time calibration device that receives data such as time, date, and other information from the Atomic Transmitter in Fort Collins, Colorado. Three times a day, data is transmitted each second for a minute to keep the time and date accurate and reliable. The luxury line of G-Shock solar power watches are all shock resistant, water resistant, and powered by a solar panel, which converts light into energy.
